Why Should You Knit Blossom & Vine?
I feel like I should just 👆👉 at pictures. But all joking aside, it’s a fantastic pattern for these 3 reasons.
- It’s beautiful.
- It’s easy.
- It’s super fast.
Oh, and did I mention that you can get it for free?
The Building Blocks of Beautiful & Easy
This entire cowl is made with a grand total of 6 stitches. Yup. Six.
You can be a complete beginner and knit this gorgeous free lace knitting pattern. Or you can have your Master in Hand Knitting certificate (yes, it’s a thing) and still enjoy it. Because honestly, who doesn’t love a simple relaxing pattern?
It’s knit with 2-4 columns of lace, meaning all the rest is super chill stockinette stitch in the round. Knitflix and chill anyone?
Super Fast Because of Super Yarn!
Blossom & Vine is knit in Aran weight yarn (and yes, you can totally get away with knitting it in a heavy worsted) on size US 10/6.00 mm needles. So talk about knitting fast!
I used Blue Sky Fibers Extra and talk about luxurious! It’s a plump and springy yarn that’s an absolute treat to knit with (and no, they’re not paying me to say that 😂). You need only 1 skein for the cowl or 2 skeins for the infinity scarf version. So buy 3 or 4 because trust me, you’ll want to knit this one more than once!
